In August, J Bear started Joy School. A group of women in our ward had been doing it for a whole semester before J Bear and I joined but they finally convinced me to put J Bear in. The group, before he joined, was all girls. He definately adds a different dynamic to the mix.
After a series of silly faces (this being only one of about 8)...
I finally got him to just smile for his first day of Joy School picture. He sure has some funny faces that he makes. 5 weeks into the school year, it was my turn to teach. My lesson was on Spontaneous Delight. Of course it was! I get the lesson with all of the messy, crazy, loud, super silly activities. One of our activities was to paint with shaving cream. Ooooooh did it smell good and all the cute kiddos had so much fun.
Some were cautious and stayed pretty clean...
Others made quite a mess of themselves...
